After 63 years of living on a dirt road with a dirt driveway the time had finally come to get the driveway paved. The area I live in has always had drainage issues that we’ve fought for years so it is by no means a typical paving job. I did my research and talked with several people and contacted 3 different contractors. Steve Krukoff was the only one who seemed to understand the uniqueness of the drainage issue and took the time to do a thorough site survey, including using a laser to measure for adequate pitch for drainage. We had a very nice conversation and he was very thorough in explaining what needed to be done and why. His estimate was the highest but the only one my wife and I felt comfortable enough to go with. They showed up when they said they would and were very professional in the way they did their job. The day after the job was done it rained so hard that I knew it would be a good test of how well the water drained and there were no issue what so ever. I would not hesitate to recommend them at all.

I was expecting good work from the Krukoff Paving crew after hearing such positive responses from friends who had had their driveways redone, and I was not disappointed!! They removed all my old asphalt on a Thursday afternoon and put down a base and leveled it, then returned the next morning and fine tuned the base before putting down a solid 3” of asphalt. They improved greatly the grading up to my garage. Both Steve and Mike Krukoff were courteous and pleasant, answered any questions I had, while being receptive to any specific drainage issues the property required.

From the beginning of our dealings to the finish they were professional and calm, the contract was clearly written, and they were good about notifying me via text messages as well as phone calls as to the start date. Bad weather held up the start but their communications kept me well informed.

I recommend them highly, and couldn’t be more pleased with their work. Steve and Mike have a good crew, all hard workers and capable, so between the 6 of them they managed to do an excellent job in record time. And they left the worksite clean, which certainly made the new driveway look even better!

Very professional from beginning to end.  The only company that gave me the full layout and information when quoting or estimating the job. Kept me informed before, during and after paving. Offered the options to correct the potential problems. Discussed with me the problematic areas, the potential problems they would cause.  Very detailed on how they performed the job. The crew were great. I could sense their teamwork very well intact which makes morale good. Their professionalism shows at the end result. Fantastic work! Some issues developed because of extremely poor soil base under the previous driveway. Krukoff Paving came up with a great and inexpensive solution. The crew was very easy to work with and accommodated our every wish.
